Who We Are
The Senior Source
works to cultivate the best quality of life for people over age 55
in the greater Dallas area.
Underneath The
Senior Source umbrella, you'll find eight programs serving the very
active retiree to the most frail elderly. For more than 45 years,
we've been The Senior Source because we're a major community
agency in Dallas exclusively serving older adults.
The Senior Source
is a United Way partner agency. We are located in the beautiful Meadows
Foundation Wilson Historic District.

John
D. Solana
Chairman,
Board of Directors
John D. Solana is Chairman of the Board of
Directors of The Senior Source. After graduating with a law degree
from Southern Methodist University of School of Law, he joined the
firm now known as Solana & Associates, P.C., CPAs. Currently he is a
member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the State Bar of
Texas, and the Dallas Bar Association.
In addition to his new position with The Senior Source, Mr. Solana
serves on the Dallas Symphony Association Advisory Board of
Governors, the Executive Committee of Educational Opportunities,
Inc., and is Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Saint Michael
and All Angels Foundation.
His past volunteer commitments are numerous and include The Dallas
Foundation Board of Governors, the Salesmanship Club of Dallas in
various Board positions, the Executive Committee of the Child Care
Group and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as its Treasurer.

Molly
H. Bogen
Executive Director
Molly H. Bogen
has been the Executive Director The Senior Source for 30 years. As
a Master Social Worker, she is licensed by the Texas State Board of
Social Worker Examiners. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree
from Southern Methodist University and her Master of Science in
Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
She has chief staff responsibility for
administration and management of the agency with its
50 member staff, $3+ million annual operating
budget, and a service delivery system with nine
programs. She works under an active, 50+ member Board of Directors.
In addition, Molly
recently completed a special faculty appointment at the University
of North Texas, Department of Applied Gerontology,
where she taught a graduate course in administration.
Molly is a past
President of the Board of Directors of the Southwest Society on Aging,
past chair of the Dallas Association of United Way Agency Executives,
and she currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Baylor Specialty
Health Centers.
